Case Study
Sheffield University – Sheffield Nano Lab
Project overview
Working on behalf of Sheffield University, ComSol installed a 23kWp flat roof solar PV system as part of the university’s city centre redevelopment.
The system generates around 19,000kWh of electricity each year, helping to reduce the university’s energy costs while supporting the building’s wider sustainability goals. With estimated annual savings of around £5,000, the installation provides a practical renewable energy solution for the site.
Over the next 25 years, the system is expected to save around 205 tonnes of CO2 and deliver an estimated financial benefit of around £125,000.
