Case Study
Highways Agency, Wakefield
Project overview
ComSol supplied and installed a 65kWp solar PV system for the Highways Agency’s newly developed headquarters in Wakefield.
The system generates around 60,000kWh of clean electricity each year, helping to reduce the site’s ongoing reliance on grid energy and lowering its annual electricity costs. With estimated savings of around £15,000 to £16,000 per year, the installation is expected to deliver a strong long-term financial benefit.
Over the next 25 years, the system is projected to save around 645 tonnes of CO2 and provide an estimated electricity cost benefit of around £400,000 to £420,000.
