Forged Solutions, Sheffield

Project overview

The famous Forged Solutions site in Sheffield benefited from the installation of a 45kWp flat roof solar PV system as part of wider upgrade works.

The system was installed to help power the site’s newly refurbished office block, generating around 39,000kWh of clean electricity each year. With estimated annual electricity savings of around £10,000, the installation supports the business in reducing its running costs while improving the long-term efficiency of the site.

Over the next 25 years, the system is expected to save around 420 tonnes of CO2 and provide an estimated overall financial benefit of around £250,000.
