Homeco Energy supplied and installed a 12kWp flat roof commercial solar PV system for the famous Sheffield Moor Market building.

The system generates around 10,000kWh of clean solar electricity each year, helping to power the traders below while reducing electricity costs for the council. With annual savings of around £2,800 and a payback period of approximately 3.5 years, the installation delivers both financial and environmental benefits.

Over the next 25 years, the system is expected to save around 108 tonnes of CO2 and provide an anticipated cost benefit of around £70,000.
